The OBDSTAR iScan Sea-Doo is a reader device specifically developed for maritime vehicles, including those from BRP. The system is based on an RK3128 quad-core processor and features a 5.0 inch touchscreen for operation. The iScan Sea-Doo supports extensive diagnostic and service functions. A 2-year software license is included with purchase.
The device offers connectivity via Wi-Fi for software updates and remote support. Data streams can be displayed in various ways, including text, waveform charts, and gauge charts. Additional functions are available through the OBDSTAR mobile app, such as technical bulletins and the location of the diagnostic connector.
Diagnostic functions:
The iScan Sea-Doo supports various diagnostic functions for analyzing and resolving faults in the vehicle system.
- Read and clear fault codes: Reading fault codes from various control units and clearing them after repair.
- Live data: Displaying real-time data streams from sensors and components. The data can be recorded and played back for analysis. Display is possible in text, waveform, or gauge chart.

- System settings and coding: Adjusting system parameters and coding modules.
Service and maintenance functions:
The device supports more than 40 service and maintenance functions. The available functions may vary by brand, model, and year of the vessel.
Engine and Drivetrain:
- Supercharger maintenance reset: Resetting the maintenance indicator for the supercharger after service.
- Throttle and Idle Control: Calibrating the throttle position and the idle actuator for correct engine response.
- Boat Speed Algorithm: Adjusting or calibrating the algorithm for accurate speed measurement.

Brake System and Control (IBR):
- IBR Configuration: Setting and configuring the Intelligent Brake and Reverse (IBR) system.
