The ECU Master configuration B&D software licence activates two configurations at the same time free, namely motorcycle en security systems. The hardware is included with every version the same; what an ECU Master can do is determined by the configurations functions that are unlocked on it.
The activation will be to the serial number from one device and is non-transferable. If you work with multiple ECU Masters in the workshop, each device requires a own licence needed. Anything outside this licence remains locked, so passenger vehicles and electric vehicles (A) and commercial vehicles, agricultural and off-road machinery (C) is not included here.

Configuration B — Motorcycle
Configuration B opens the motorcycle engine management. This is within this platform the any configuration with motorcycle ECM.
- Keep motorcycle work indoors: Controllers for over one hundred brands read, write and clone.
- Search controller by name: The software operates per controller type and not by model year, so you search based on what's actually in the engine.
- Deploying replacement ECM: A second-hand or prepare a new control unit for the motorcycle it needs to be installed in.
- Separate purchase: Motorcycle ECM is in no other configuration, not even in the heaviest.
Configuration D — Safety Systems
Configuration D focuses on what needs to be reset after a collision or repair. These are the airbag control unit, the battery monitoring and the steering angle sensor.
- Complete vehicle damage procedures: The crash data Clear crash data from the airbag control unit after replacement parts are installed.
- Register new battery: Reset the battery management system so the readings charging behaviour match the battery installed.
- Learn sensor: Reset and relearn the steering angle sensor after alignment or steering column work.
- In one session: Perform all three operations in sequence without switching devices.

What you'll need
The ECU Master works together with a computer. Without the components listed below, you cannot use the unlocked configuration no only.
- An OBDSTAR ECU Master: The licence unlocks a device that you even if and is not supplied separately.
- A computer with Windows 10 or later: The ECU Master software runs on the PC and not on the device itself.
- An internet connection: The software logs in at startup to check which configurations are unlocked.
- An OBDSTAR account: This holds the unlock registered that we prepare for you.
- The serial number of your device: Found on the sticker on the underside and in the software under the device information.

How does it work in practice?
From order to working configuration there are four steps. The serial number is the only thing you need to locate yourself.
- Provide serial number: Enter the serial number of your ECU Master during checkout; that is required.
- We prepare it: We register the unlock with OBDSTAR, typically within one working day.
- Confirmation by email: You will hear from us once the configuration on your serial number is shown.
- Update the software: Log in to the PC software and download the unlocked configuration; after that it will be in the menu.
