The Launch X-431 HD III update licence extends your entitlement to software updates for the HD III with one year. The HD III is not a standalone device but an module; it works in conjunction with an X-431 tablet and enables heavy-duty vehicle diagnostics on that tablet for trucks, buses and machinery. The HD III is the commercial vehicle module that makes an X-431 tablet suitable for heavy equipment, and all those functions draw from the same software file which is expanded with every update.
We will send you following your order a renewal card by email, typically within one working day. You enter the code from it into the update menu of the HD III, after which the new period commences. When placing your order, please provide the serial number of the device with your order, as this is mandatory. A renewal keeps the commercial vehicle coverage of the module, and new truck, bus and machinery brands are continuously being added.
