The Jaltest JDC532A is the adapter cable connecting the 4-pin CAN diagnostic connector on Scania industrial engines to the 16-pin OBD2 port of your Jaltest diagnostic scanner. On the engine side, it features the 4-pin connector that plugs into the engine's diagnostic port in the engine bay; on the scanner side, the 16-pin OBD2 connector. Cojali supplies it as the CAN 4-pin diagnostics cable for Scania engines. Because the connector belongs to the engine rather than the machine, you'll find it on Scania industrial engines in equipment from manufacturers including Doosan, Terex, Hyundai CE, Kobelco, Konecranes, Dewulf and Ploeger, as well as on marine engines.
This cable routes the engine's CAN diagnostic line to the Jaltest Link, enabling direct communication with Scania engine management. This gives your diagnostic tool access to EMS PDE and EDC MS6.2, the control systems for pump-injector technology. Coverage of these engines includes: Fault codes, live data and ECU information, without maintenance intervals, component actuation or parameters. The cable is compatible with Jaltest OHW (Off-Highway machines), Jaltest AGV (agricultural vehicles), Jaltest MHE (Material Handling Equipment) and Jaltest Marine.

Using this connection, you can access the Scania engine management system via the CAN bus with Jaltest software.
Control Units You Can Access
- EMS PDE, Engine Management System, Unit Injector: Scania engine management with pump-injector units, including fault codes, live data, and ECU information.
- EDC MS6.2, Engine Management System, Unit Injector: The corresponding control unit using the same injection principle, with identical function list.
What You Can Do
- Read and clear fault codes: Access the control unit's fault memory with fault descriptions, and clear it after repair.
- View live data: Monitor real-time sensor values from the control unit.
- Set alarm thresholds: Receive alerts when measured values fall outside normal range.
Maintenance intervals, component control, and parameters are not available in the coverage table for these Scania engines.
