The Jaltest 29760 is the annual renewal license for Jaltest OHW, the diagnostic module for off-highway equipment. This extends your current license for twelve months if you already have the OHW module in active use. We link the renewal to your Jaltest Link serial number and activate it within one business day after you place your order.
With your renewal, you maintain twelve months of access to new software versions, including the machines, systems and features added that year. If you don't renew, your diagnostics will continue working on your last installed version: you keep your hardware, but won't receive coverage for new equipment anymore. If you don't yet have the module, start with the software activation (29308) and the first-year software license (74001014); this renewal license continues from year two onward.

Applications and Features
Jaltest OHW is the module for off-highway equipment. This update license keeps that module active; what you can do with it depends on the machine and cable you use.
What the OHW module covers
- Earthmoving and construction equipment: Caterpillar, Volvo Construction, Hitachi, Komatsu, Liebherr, Bobcat, Doosan, Hyundai CE and Hidromek.
- Engines: Engine control units from Deutz, Kubota, Yanmar and Mercedes-Benz/MTU.
- Transmissions: ZF Ergopower transmissions.
What you can do
- System scan: Display all control units present and identify any fault codes.
- Read and clear fault codes: Access the fault memory for each control unit, complete with fault descriptions.
- Live data and sensor readings: Request sensor values and monitor them in real-time while the machine is running or operating.
- Component activation: Manually trigger actuators to determine whether a fault is in the component itself or in the wiring.
- Parameters and calibrations: Write settings and perform the calibration procedures that Jaltest offers per system, for example after replacing a component.
- Service resets: Reset service and maintenance intervals.
- Expert mode: Manually select a control unit when automatic selection doesn't work.
What you'll need
This update license is the renewal within a fixed package. Here's the complete breakdown.
- Jaltest Link: The diagnostic interface. Required, also to launch the software on a PC.
- Software activation (29308): Purchased once, remains valid indefinitely.
- Software license first year (74001014): The first-year annual license.
- Update license (29760): This product. Twelve months of renewal, from year two onwards.
- Diagnostic cables: The OHW cable set Basic (70002030) or Complete (70002026), or individual cables per brand.
Two modules build on OHW: Jaltest GSE (75201004) for ground support equipment at airports, available only alongside an active OHW subscription, and Multi-Purpose Vehicle (29348), which shares the same licensing terms as OHW. For wiring diagrams and guided repair procedures, there's INFO Plus. These modules are purchased separately.
