The Jaltest 71502007 is the software licence for the Knorr-Bremse Diagnostics Add-on: Knorr-Bremse's own diagnostic software, which you access within your existing Jaltest software. Knorr-Bremse developed this diagnostic tool together with Cojali, based on the interface and operation of Jaltest Diagnostics, replacing the separate standalone programmes that previously ran side by side: NEO for trucks and ECUtalk for trailers.
The add-on works alongside your existing Jaltest software: You work in a single environment without switching between programmes. However, there is one requirement: you need an active Jaltest diagnostic licence, either CV or Modular. Unlike other modules, the original Knorr-Bremse technical information is included with this add-on. From the second year onwards, you keep the module current with the update licence (71602007).

Applications and functionality
Knorr-Bremse Diagnostics is Knorr-Bremse's own diagnostics, using the interface and workflow of Jaltest Diagnostics. This licence activates that module. What you do with it afterwards depends on the system and the connection you use.
What you can do with it
- System scan: The software reads which Knorr-Bremse units are installed in the vehicle.
- Read and clear fault codes: With the descriptions provided by Knorr-Bremse.
- Measured values and live data: The brake system parameters whilst the vehicle is running.
- Component control: Directly control brake modulators, sensors and actuators to verify they respond.
- Parameters and calibrations: The settings and calibrations that Knorr-Bremse releases for each system.
- Control unit replacement: According to Knorr-Bremse procedures, which comply with cybersecurity and SUMS requirements.
Compatible vehicles and systems
The module works on Knorr-Bremse systems in trucks, buses and trailers. Which systems are available for each vehicle varies by model and year of manufacture.
Truck and trailer in one programme
Where you previously worked with two separate programmes – NEO for the tractor and ECUtalk for the trailer – that is now in one environment. This also includes Knorr-Bremse's newer generation trailer brake systems, the iTEBS X.
What is not covered by this module
The module covers Knorr-Bremse systems only. The rest of the vehicle is diagnosed using the Jaltest diagnostic licence you already have; that remains available alongside this module.
Four editions
Knorr-Bremse Diagnostics is available via two routes, each with an initial purchase and an annual renewal. The add-on works within an existing Jaltest licence; the standalone version does not require that licence. You are currently looking at the Knorr-Bremse Diagnostics Add-on.

What you need
To diagnose Knorr-Bremse systems, you need more than this product. The complete setup is detailed below.
- Jaltest Link: The diagnostic interface. Required, even to start the software on a PC.
- An active Jaltest diagnostic licence: CV or Modular. The add-on works within that licence.
- The module itself (71502007): This product. You purchase it once.
- Update licence (71602007): Twelve-month renewal, from the second year onwards.
- Adapter cables (optional): Wabco and Knorr-Bremse trailer brake systems, 7-pin (JDC103A), Knorr-Bremse KB4-TA trailer ABS, 7-pin (JDC111A), Knorr-Bremse EBS 5, 18+18-pin (JDC220A), Knorr-Bremse ABS, 18+18-pin (JDC305A). If you do not have them, you can connect using the multipin set from your Jaltest kit.

How does it work in practice?
From order to working module there are four steps. The serial number of your Jaltest Link is all you need to find yourself.
- Provide the serial number: Include the serial number of your Jaltest Link in the notes field when you place your order; this is required.
- We activate it: We link the module to that serial number, usually within one working day after your order.
- Confirmation by email: You will hear from us as soon as the module is on your serial number.
- Update the software: Start Jaltest Diagnostics and fetch the module; afterwards, the Knorr-Bremse diagnostics will appear in the start menu.
