The Jaltest 70607001 is the SGW authorisation for FCA: It grants your Jaltest access to Fiat Professional vehicles secured behind a Security Gateway. The licence runs for twelve months from activation.
Without authorisation, you can read data from these vehicles, but cannot control functions, calibrate, or reset maintenance schedules. Jaltest is approved by the manufacturer as a diagnostic tool and manages the connection to the authentication server; this licence unlocks that connection for you.

What is the Security Gateway?
Newer Fiat Professional vehicles feature a Security Gateway (SGW): a security module between the diagnostic port and control units that prevents unauthorised intervention. To work through it, you must identify yourself to the manufacturer. Jaltest does this for you once this authorisation is installed on your device.
What is blocked without authorisation
- Control functions: activate components to test them
- Calibrations: retrain sensors and systems
- Maintenance functions: service resets and maintenance procedures
- Clearing fault codes: Also blocked on FCA without authorisation
Data reading remains available: reading fault codes and monitoring live data works even without authorisation.
What you can do after activation
With authorisation on your Jaltest, you can perform everything you do on other vehicles with these models: bidirectional tests, calibrations, maintenance and all other steps of a complete repair.
Which vehicles are covered
This authorisation applies to Fiat Professional models that Jaltest supports with Security Gateway. Which functions are available per model depends on Jaltest coverage.
- Ducato: Ducato from model year 2019 onwards
- Doblò: Doblò Cargo 1.3 and 1.6 Multijet
For the other manufacturer, separate licensing is available: Iveco SGW per organisation (70607002) and per device (70607003).
What you need
The authorisation works on top of your Jaltest diagnostic licence. The full breakdown is shown below.
- Jaltest Link V8 or newer: older Links cannot establish the secure connection.
- An active Jaltest diagnostic licence: for the vehicle you want to diagnose, such as Jaltest CV, Modular or Truck Select with this brand included.
- FCA SGW (70607001): This product, one licence per workshop.
Duration and renewal
The FCA authorisation runs for twelve months from the day the manufacturer approves your application. After that, you will need to renew the licence.

How the activation process works
Unlike a standard licence, the manufacturer is involved here. From order to working authorisation, there are four steps.
- Place your order: include the serial number of your Jaltest Link and your company details in the notes field.
- We submit the application: We send your details to FCA via Cojali.
- Manufacturer approval: FCA reviews the application. This takes longer than standard licensing; do not expect same-day approval.
- Access: Once approval is received, the authorisation will be activated on your Jaltest and you will be notified by email.
