Jaltest (29786) | ADAS | Software activation
The Jaltest ADAS software activation (29786) is a one-time activation that permanently links the selected ADAS module to your Jaltest Link V9 interface. After activation, the ADAS module remains visible within the software. This activation is valid for life and is non-transferable to another interface. The activation does not provide the usage capabilities of the software itself but forms the basis to link the module to your diagnostic interface.
To keep the activated ADAS software operational and usable, a software license is mandatory. This license provides access to software updates, new features, current vehicle coverage, and technical support. Without a valid license, the ADAS module remains visible in the software but the software cannot be used for diagnostic purposes or calibrations. The software activation takes 24 to 48 hours and happens automatically after ordering.

The ADAS software activation opens the door to advanced diagnostic and calibration possibilities for modern vehicle safety systems.
- Diagnosis of ADAS systems: Reading and clearing fault codes, viewing live data, and component activation for various ADAS components such as radar sensors, cameras, and ultrasonic sensors.
- Calibration procedures: Performing static and dynamic calibration of camera and radar systems, required after repairs or replacement of windshields and sensors.
- Access to technical information: Availability of detailed technical documentation, wiring diagrams, and step-by-step guides for ADAS-related repairs and calibrations.

License information:
For the activation of the software, the serial number of your Jaltest Link V9 interface is required. You must enter this serial number in the comments field when ordering. You can find the serial number in the following places:
- Jaltest Link (interface): On the sticker with “SN:” on the back or underside of the unit.
- Jaltest software: Go to Configuration → Hardware/Link → Information to view the serial number of the interface.
- Packaging box: The serial number is listed on a sticker on the original product packaging of the interface.
