The Topdon ArtiDiag HD is a diagnostic scanner designed for heavy commercial vehicles, including trucks, buses and construction machinery. The device supports more than 60 manufacturers and performs comprehensive system diagnostics. The ArtiDiag HD features a 5-inch display, quad-core processor and runs on Android 6.0 operating system. The licence includes 2 years of free software updates.

This diagnostic scanner offers features such as automatic vehicle identification via AutoVIN, generation of diagnostic reports and the ability to perform software updates directly via Wi-Fi. The live data function allows you to visualise vehicle data in real-time for detailed analysis of system performance.

Diagnostic functions:

The Topdon ArtiDiag HD performs comprehensive system diagnostics for all major electronic control units in the vehicle.

• Read and clear fault codes: Read and remove fault codes from all major vehicle systems, including engine, transmission and ABS.
• Freeze frame data: Capture and display vehicle data at the moment a fault code is stored.
• Live data: Display real-time data from vehicle sensors and components in various formats.

Service and maintenance functions:

This device supports more than 10 service and maintenance functions for heavy commercial vehicles. The availability of these functions may vary depending on the specific make, model and year of the truck.

Engine and drivetrain:

• Reset oil service: Reset the engine oil service interval and switch off the service lamp after an oil change.
• Code injectors: Program the calibration codes of new injectors into the engine control unit (ECU) for precise fuel injection.
• Calibrate clutch: Perform clutch calibration or learning, typically on automated transmissions.
• Cylinder deactivation test: Temporarily deactivate individual cylinders to analyse the performance and contribution of each cylinder.
• Adjust idle speed: Set or adjust the engine idle speed for smooth operation.

Exhaust systems:

• Diesel particulate filter regeneration (DPF): Initiate forced regeneration of the DPF to remove accumulated soot particles and prevent clogging.
• Selective Catalytic Reduction reset (SCR): Reset the SCR system, for example after refilling AdBlue (DEF) or replacing system components.
• Calibrate urea/AdBlue system (DEF): Perform calibrations and tests on the Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) dosing system for correct operation.

Brakes:

• Reset brake pad wear: Reset the brake pad wear indicator after replacement.

Body and electrical:

• Adjust speed limiter: Enables you to set or adjust the maximum speed limit stored in the vehicle computer.
