The OBDSTAR IScan Vespa is a diagnostic scanner developed specifically for Vespa scooters and motorcycles. The device is built as a portable tablet with a 5.0-inch capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 800x480 pixels and runs Android 5.1.1. Housed within is a RK3128 quad-core ARM Cortex A7 processor paired with a rechargeable 2600 mAh lithium-polymer battery. The IScan Vespa supports full diagnostic and key programming functionality for Vespa vehicles, including fault code reading and clearing, live datastreams, actuator testing, coding and configuration. The licence is valid for 1 year following activation.
Additional capabilities include automatic VIN recognition, automatic scanning, ECU settings and coding, module programming and real-time datastreams displayed as text, waveform or gauge view. The device features Wi-Fi connectivity for software updates and provides a one-click remote function enabling remote technical support. Support for a 32 GB micro SD card (TF) delivers expandable storage, whilst features such as first fault guidance, technical bulletins and diagnostic socket information assist the technician throughout the diagnostic process.

- After licence expiry: The device continues to operate with the last installed software version, but new updates and enhancements become available only after licence renewal.
