The OBDSTAR MS50 Basic is a tablet-style reader device, specifically designed for performing diagnostic tasks on motorcycles and mopeds. The device is equipped with a 5-inch touchscreen, runs on an Android operating system, and offers basic diagnostic functions such as reading ECU information, reading and clearing fault codes, and displaying live data. A 1-year software update license is included with the purchase.
The interface of the OBDSTAR MS50 Basic is designed for ease of use and supports an automatic scan function that identifies vehicle systems. The functionality of the device can be expanded with various optional diagnostic cables and Adapters, increasing vehicle coverage and available functions. The device connects via Wi-Fi for software updates.
Diagnostic functions:
The OBDSTAR MS50 Basic offers various diagnostic functions for analyzing the electronic systems of motorcycles and mopeds.
- Read and clear fault codes: Reads and clears diagnostic trouble codes (DTC's) from the vehicle's control units.

EEPROM functions:
- Odometer calibration: Reads and adjusts the mileage via an EEPROM dump.

Engine and drivetrain:
