The Jaltest 70607003 is the device part of the authorisation that allows your Jaltest to work on Iveco vehicles fitted with a Security Gateway (SGW), the security module between the diagnostic port and the control units. Without authorisation you can read these vehicles, but you cannot control, calibrate or reset maintenance. Iveco requires both parts on first purchase, so also the company activation (70607002).
Jaltest is approved by Iveco as a compatible tool and handles the connection to the authentication server. This part is purchased per Jaltest Link: if you have three devices, you order it three times, in addition to the one company part. The authorisation runs until 31 December of the year of purchase and works with a Jaltest Link V8 or newer and an active Jaltest diagnostic licence.

Applications and functionality
Newer Iveco vehicles only allow interventions if the tool identifies itself to the manufacturer. Jaltest does this for you once this authorisation is on your device. After that, on these vehicles you do the same as on other vehicles: Bidirectional tests, calibrations, maintenance and the other steps of a complete repair.

How to use it
- Ordering: On first purchase, order the company part and the device part together.
- Details: Enter the serial number of your Jaltest Link and your company details in the comments field.
- Request: AsTools sends your details via Cojali to Iveco.
- Approval: Iveco assesses the request; this takes longer than with a standard licence.
- Access: After approval, the authorisation is on your Jaltest and you will be notified by email.
Compatible vehicles and applications
What matters is whether the model with Security Gateway is listed in Jaltest. The authorisation applies to the Iveco models that Jaltest supports with SGW. Which functions are available per model depends on the coverage in Jaltest.
Daily:
- Daily: From 2019, also Daily CNG.
- Minibus Daily: From 2019.
Heavy range:
- S-Way: S-Way and S-Way NP.
- T-Way: T-Way.
- X-Way: X-Way and X-Way NP.
Buses:
- Crossway: Crossway and Crossway LE.
Other make:
- FCA SGW (70607001): Own authorisation for FCA.
Workshop and device
Iveco registers the workshop and each device separately. You add extra devices later using the device part only.
- One Jaltest Link: 1x 70607002 and 1x 70607003.
- Two Jaltest Links: 1x 70607002 and 2x 70607003.
- Three Jaltest Links: 1x 70607002 and 3x 70607003.
Term and renewal
Iveco works with calendar years. An activation is valid until 31 December of the year of purchase, even if that is not until autumn.
- Renewal: From 1 November to 15 December, with the update licence per company (78500001) and per device (78500002). Access then continues into the new year.
- Too late: After 15 December the renewal lapses and you buy the activation per company (70607002) and per device (70607003) again.
- Pricing: Cojali may change the SGW prices after written notice; requests always go through Cojali.

- Jaltest diagnostic licence: Active and including Iveco, such as Jaltest CV, Modular or Truck Select.
- SGW activation per company (70607002): Once per workshop.
