The Jaltest MHE (Material Handling Equipment) software activation (75001001) is a one-time procedure that is valid for life. This activation permanently links the selected MHE module to your Jaltest Link V9 interface. After activation, the module remains visible within the Jaltest software and is not transferable to another interface. The activation itself does not provide usage capabilities of the software but forms the basis to link the MHE module to the interface and prepare it for use.

The software license, sold separately, is required to keep the software operational. A valid license provides access to the latest updates, new features, current vehicle coverage, and technical support. Without an active license, the MHE module remains visible but the software cannot be used for diagnostics or other functionalities. The software activation usually takes 24 to 48 hours and happens automatically after ordering.

This software activation enables the following functionalities for Material Handling Equipment (MHE), provided a valid software license is present:

Advanced diagnostics: Access to extensive diagnostic functions for various MHE systems, including engine, transmission, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
Reading and clearing fault codes: Ability to identify, analyze, and clear fault codes for accurate troubleshooting.

License information:

For the activation of the Jaltest MHE software, the serial number of your Jaltest Link V9 interface is required. We ask you to enter this serial number in the comments field during the ordering process. You can find the serial number in the following ways:

Jaltest Link (interface): The serial number (starting with “SN:”) is on a sticker on the back or underside of the unit.
Jaltest software: Go via the main menu to Configuration → Hardware/Link → Information. Here you will find the serial number of the connected interface.
Packaging box: There is a sticker with the serial number on the original product packaging of your Jaltest Link V9 interface.
