Applications and functionality

Jaltest MHE is the Jaltest diagnostic solution for forklifts, telehandlers and boom lifts. With this licence, that module is available to you from day one. What you do with it subsequently depends on the vehicle and the connection interface you use.

What you can do with it

• Systems and fault codes: The software recognises the control units present and reads out the fault codes, with their descriptions.
• Live readings: Read parameters whilst the vehicle is running, from engine speed and pressure to temperature.
• Actuation: Direct actuation of components to verify they respond.
• Calibrations and settings: The calibrations and parameter settings that Jaltest offers per system.
• Symptom-based fault finding: Guided search paths that start from the complaint rather than the fault code.
• Technical information: Releases, procedures and manual diagnostics for the systems you access.
• Expert mode: Select a control unit manually when automatic selection is not suitable.

Four editions

Jaltest MHE comes in four versions with the same coverage. The difference lies in what you purchase – a one-time purchase, the first year of use included, a renewal, or an add-on to software you already own – not in what you can do with it.

What you need

To diagnose with Jaltest MHE, you need more than this product. The full setup is detailed below.

• Jaltest Link: The diagnostic interface. Required, even to start the software on a PC.
• The module itself (75001009): This product. You purchase the module with the first year of use included.
• Update licence (75101001): Twelve months' extension, from the second year onwards.
• Adapter cables (optional): MHE cable set (70002022). If you don't have them, you can connect using the multipin set included in your Jaltest kit.

What's included

• 1x Jaltest (75001009) | MHE (Material Handling Equipment) | Software licence, including the first year of use, delivered digitally to your Jaltest Link serial number

How does it work in practice?

From order to working module there are four steps. The serial number of your Jaltest Link is all you need to find yourself.

1. Provide the serial number: Include the serial number of your Jaltest Link in the notes field when you place your order; this is required.
2. We activate: We bind the module to that serial number, typically within one working day of your order.
3. Confirmation by email: You will hear from us as soon as the module is on your serial number.
4. Update software: Start Jaltest Diagnostics and download the module; Jaltest MHE will then appear in the main menu.
