The Jaltest 74502005 is the software activation for Marine Jetski, Jaltest diagnostics for jet skis and personal watercraft. This is the entry-level product in the module: you purchase it once, we lock it to the serial number of your Jaltest Link, and it will then appear in the main menu of Jaltest Diagnostics.
The software runs on a Windows PC and reads control units via the Jaltest Link; without that interface, it will not start. The purchase itself does not expire – the module remains yours – but for new software versions from the second year onwards, you will need the update licence (74602005).

Applications and functionality
Marine Jetski is the Jaltest diagnostic solution for jet skis and personal watercraft. This activation unlocks that module. What you can do with it afterwards depends on the engine and the connection you use.

- Systems and fault codes: The software recognises the control units present and reads out the fault codes, with their descriptions.
- Live measurements: Engine speed, pressure, temperature and other parameters whilst the engine is running.
- Actuation: Direct actuation of components to verify they respond.
- Calibrations and settings: The calibrations and parameter settings that Jaltest offers per system.
- Symptom-based fault finding: Guided search paths that start from the complaint rather than the fault code.
- Technical information: Releases, procedures and manual diagnostics for the systems you access.
- Expert mode: Select a control unit manually when automatic selection is not suitable.

Marine Jetski is available in three versions with identical coverage. The difference lies in what you purchase – a one-time purchase, the first year of usage included, or a renewal – not in what you can do with it.

What you need
To diagnose with Marine Jetski, you will need more than this product. The complete setup is shown below.
- Jaltest Link: The diagnostic interface. Required, even to start the software on a PC.
- The module itself (74502005): This product. You purchase the module once; the module remains yours.
- Adapter cables (optional): Marine jetski cable set (29985). If you don't have them, connect using the multipin set included in your Jaltest case.

How does it work in practice?
From order to working module there are four steps. The serial number of your Jaltest Link is all you need to find yourself.
- Provide the serial number: Include the serial number of your Jaltest Link in the notes field when you place your order; this is required.
- We activate: We bind the module to that serial number, typically within one working day of your order.
- Confirmation by email: You will hear from us as soon as the module is on your serial number.
- Update software: Start Jaltest Diagnostics and fetch the module; afterwards Marine Jetski will appear in the home menu.
