This 3-piece set is a wheel lock bolt remover, specially designed for disassembling wheel locks on various BMW models. The set is suitable for removing wheel lock bolts equipped with a rotating or revolving ring, also known as 'flower-shaped' locks, especially when the original key is not available.
The parts of the set are made from SCM440 steel. The supplied Adapter has a 1/2” square drive, making it compatible with standard ratchets and impact wrenches. The tool is delivered in a compact plastic storage case for organized storage and transport.
Application and functionality:
This tool is developed for unscrewing BMW wheel lock bolts with a rotating outer ring when the original key is missing or damaged.
- Disassembly of wheel locks: Enables removal of wheel lock bolts with a freely rotating ring without damaging the rim.
- Grip mechanism: The disassembly sleeve is hammered over the wheel lock bolt and grips it, allowing the bolt to be unscrewed.
- Removing the bolt: The supplied drift pin is used to tap the removed bolt out of the sleeve after disassembly.
