The VT14104 Forming Gas Leak Detector is designed for detecting leaks in air conditioning systems filled with forming gas, consisting of a mixture of 5% hydrogen (H₂) and 95% nitrogen (N₂). The tester can accurately detect hydrogen, which is ideal for identifying small leaks due to the very small molecular size of hydrogen. With its microprocessor control and advanced digital signal processing, this instrument offers fast and reliable results.

- Detection of hydrogen and nitrogen in forming gas: This tester is specifically designed to detect low concentrations of hydrogen (H₂) in forming gas (5% H₂ and 95% N₂), which is ideal for detecting small leaks in air conditioning systems. The hydrogen gas, due to its small molecular size, can mark even the smallest leaks, making this tester extremely effective for HVAC leak detection.
- Microprocessor control with digital signal processing: The advanced microprocessor manages a digital signal processing algorithm that ensures fast and accurate measurements.
