The VT13853 is an 8-piece timing set for VAG 1.0, 1.2 and 1.4L TSI/TFSI petrol engines (EA211 series). Specifically designed for locking camshafts and crankshaft during timing belt maintenance on Audi, Seat, Skoda and Volkswagen models.
The set includes all necessary components for proper timing: crankshaft locking pin, camshaft locking plate, tool for holding the cam followers, a wrench and a locking pins for the tensioner. Supplied in sturdy storage case.

Application and Functionality
- Camshaft locking: Camshaft locking plate secures the camshafts in the correct position.
- Locking camshaft sprockets: Holds the camshaft sprockets in place during loosening and tightening of the central bolts.
- Crankshaft fixing: Crankshaft locking pin secures the crankshaft in the TDC position.
- Belt tensioner adjustment: Rotate the belt tensioner to set the correct tension on the timing belt.
