The VT13557 is a universal clutch alignment tool set, designed for precise centering of the clutch disc relative to the flywheel. This set is suitable for a wide range of vehicles, including passenger cars and light commercial vehicles equipped with a single clutch disc. The tool is also usable in systems where the flywheel is not equipped with a pilot bearing.
The set consists of a conical alignment tool and two different spindles. These components allow the tool to be adapted to various crankshaft bore diameters. By correctly fixing the clutch disc before the pressure plate is secured, transmission installation is facilitated and misalignment, which can cause friction and damage, is prevented.
Application and functionality:
This tool is used to perfectly center the clutch disc before the pressure plate is mounted. Correct alignment is a prerequisite for trouble-free installation of the transmission input shaft.
