Application and functionality:

• Locking the camshaft: Secures the camshaft in the correct position with an alignment bridge or alignment tool, depending on the engine type.
• Locking the crankshaft: Locks the crankshaft via the flywheel at TDC (top dead center) using one of the supplied pins.
• Dismantling the fuel pump: Enables removal of the high-pressure fuel pump gear without disturbing the timing settings.
• Locking the chain tensioner: Holds the chain tensioner in a retracted position during assembly using the tensioner pins.
