The VT01705B is a common-rail high-pressure test set for diagnosing fuel pressure problems in modern diesel vehicles. The set is designed to measure the pressure in the common-rail system directly at the high-pressure pump, the fuel rail, and between the lines to the injectors. The included Pressure Gauge has a measuring range of 0 to 2000 bar (0 - 29000 PSI) and is filled with glycerin to dampen vibrations and increase reading accuracy.
Thanks to the various adapters and blind plugs with M12x1.5 and M14x1.5 threads, this tester is compatible with a wide range of common-rail systems. The set makes it possible to check the pressure during engine start or operation. All components are housed in a sturdy storage case, providing protection and organized transport.
Application and functionality:
This test set is developed for performing pressure measurements and diagnostics on common-rail diesel systems.
- Pressure measurement: Direct measurement of the system pressure of the high-pressure pump. This can determine whether the pump delivers the required pressure.
