The timing set (VT01271) is designed for correctly adjusting the engine timing on various 1.2 16V petrol engines from Fiat and Lancia. The tool is used for locking the camshafts and determining the correct piston position during timing belt replacement or other engine maintenance.
This 5-piece set contains specific tools such as camshaft adjustment tool to lock the camshafts, two piston height adapters to set the pistons at the required height, and a tensioner wrench for correctly tensioning the timing belt. All parts are supplied in a plastic storage case for organization and protection.
Application and functionality:
This set is assembled for performing maintenance on the timing system, such as replacing the timing belt.
