The VT01128 is a spark plug connector pliers designed for the safe disassembly and assembly of spark plug connectors. The pliers have a total length of 280 mm, providing sufficient reach in deep engine compartments. The construction consists of a metal body with an angled jaw and handles coated with red plastic for better grip.
The specially shaped and coated jaw of the pliers is designed to fully enclose the spark plug connector. This minimizes the risk of damage to the connector or the spark plug cable during removal. The angled shape of the head makes it possible to reach spark plugs located in hard-to-access places, such as engines with a deep spark plug well.
Application and functionality:
This spark plug connector pliers is used for maintenance of the ignition system of combustion engines.
- Safe disassembly: The round, coated jaws provide a firm grip on the spark plug connector, allowing it to be pulled straight off the spark plug without tilting. This prevents damage to the porcelain insulator of the spark plug and the internal contacts of the cable.
- Accessibility: Thanks to the long design and the angled head, even deeply seated spark plug connectors can be reached that are not or hardly accessible with standard tools.
- Protection: The plastic coating on the jaw prevents scratches and tears in the rubber or silicone insulation of the spark plug connector.
- Assembly: The pliers can also be used to place the spark plug connector back straight onto the spark plug and press firmly until it clicks into place.
