The Topdon Tesla software activation adds the Tesla diagnostic software to a device from the Phoenix series for one year. The software covers the Model S, Model X and Model 3 up to and including model year 2020. You can read out, among others, the body controller, thermal management, tyre pressure, parking assist, airbag module, battery management and ESP.
The activation works as a first-time addition and as an extension of a current Tesla licence. When ordering, you provide the serial number and the model of your Phoenix. You receive the activation code by email, usually within one working day, and enter it on the device. A Tesla diagnostic cable is not included with this activation.

How does it work in practice?
From order to first Tesla diagnosis takes four steps.
- Providing details: When ordering, state the model and serial number of your Phoenix.
- Receiving the code: You receive the activation code by email, usually within one working day.
- Entering the code: Enter the code on the device to activate the Tesla software.
- Installing the software: Connect the device to Wi-Fi and download the Tesla software.
