The Topdon TC001 Max is a compact thermal imaging camera with dual lens that turns a smartphone, tablet, or Windows computer into a professional thermographic camera. The device combines a 256 x 192 pixel infrared sensor with a 1.5MP visible light camera: the two images are merged so that contours, labels, and environmental details remain visible in the thermal image. Through Topdon's patented TISR technology (Thermal Image Super Resolution), the thermal resolution is increased to 512 x 384 pixels.
With a measurement range of -20 °C to 550 °C, an accuracy of ±2 °C (or ±2%), and a thermal sensitivity of ≤40 mK, the TC001 Max is suitable for a variety of workshop applications: from detecting overheated wiring, malfunctioning injectors, and clogged radiators to insulation inspections and leak detection. The device weighs only 33 grams, is powered by the connected device (consumption under 0.38 W), and works via USB-C and Lightning on iOS, Android, and Windows.
