With an active license, you benefit from continuously expanding vehicle coverage, enhanced diagnostic functions, and software enhancements that optimize the device's stability and performance. After the update period expires, your Phoenix Plus will continue to operate with the last installed software version, but you will no longer receive new updates until the license is renewed.

How does it work in practice?
Activating the license is a simple process that is entirely digital:
- Place your order and enter the serial number of your Topdon device in the comments field of the shopping cart.
- Within 24 hours after ordering, you will receive the digital renewal code via WhatsApp or email.
- On your Topdon Phoenix Plus, navigate to the main menu and select the option 'Update' or 'Renew'.
- Enter the received activation code to extend your subscription by one year.
- The new software updates are immediately available for download and installation.
Serial number information
For software activation, the serial number of your device is required. This number consists of 12 characters and must be entered correctly in the comments field during the ordering process. You can find the serial number in one of the following locations:
- Back of the device: Usually found on a sticker on the casing of the tablet.
- Settings menu: Navigate in the software to 'Settings' or 'Info' where system details, including the serial number, are displayed.
- Original packaging: The serial number is often listed on the box in which the diagnostic device was originally delivered.
