The Topdon Phoenix Elite is a professional Diagnostic Tool, designed as a 10.1-inch tablet with a wireless VCI (Vehicle Communication Interface). This system supports more than 200 Car brands and is equipped with features such as topology mapping, online coding, and full system diagnostics. The device runs on Android 10, a 2.0 GHz 4-core processor, and 64 GB of storage memory. A license for 2 years of software updates is included with the purchase.
This Diagnostic Tool supports the CAN FD protocol for communication with modern Cars. The functionality can be expanded with modules for ADAS calibration, Battery testing, oscilloscopes, key programming, and thermal imaging. Additionally, the Phoenix Elite provides access to secure gateways, such as the FCA Secure Gateway and the Renault Secure Gateway. For VAG Cars, there are guided functions available that lead the user step-by-step through procedures.
Diagnostic functions:
The Topdon Phoenix Elite offers extensive diagnostic capabilities for all existing vehicle systems. The functions include reading fault codes, displaying live data, and controlling actuators.
- Read and clear fault codes: Reads and clears fault codes (DTC's) from all available control units, such as the engine, transmission, ABS, and airbags.
- Live data functions: Displays real-time data streams from sensors and components. The data can be shown in various formats, including text, graphs, and analog meters.
- Actuator control (bi-directional check): Tests the operation of components by controlling them directly from the Diagnostic Tool, for example switching fans, injectors, or valves on and off.
- Topology mapping: Visualizes the communication structure between the different control units in the Car. This provides an overview of the system status and the interrelationships, with modules marked that have fault codes.
- OBFCM (On-Board Fuel Consumption Monitoring): Enables reading the Car's fuel consumption and forwarding the data to the RDW for the APK inspection.
Service and maintenance functions:
This Diagnostic Tool supports more than 35 service and maintenance functions. Available functions may vary by Car brand, model, and year.
