The Topdon ArtiDiag Pro update licence extends your entitlement to software updates for the ArtiDiag Pro with one year. The ArtiDiag Pro is a seven-inch tablet designed for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles operating on twelve-volt systems. Between software updates, the device itself remains unchanged, yet the vehicle fleet arriving at your workshop continues to evolve. This is the only model in the range for which the manufacturer sensor programming claims capability, as it programmes TPMS sensors from over twenty vehicle brands; additionally, it performs online coding for the VAG group, BMW and Mini.

A licence renewal keeps the vehicle coverage, the sensor database and the coding files via a card with a code which you receive by email and enter yourself into the update menu . We need the serial number for your ArtiDiag Pro, so please specify this when ordering. Without renewal, the device will continue to function on the version currently installed.

POINTS TO NOTE

✕The code on the card can only be used once; keep the email until you have entered it in the update menu.

✕Vehicle connection plays no role in updates; everything occurs via Wi-Fi and the charger.

To understand precisely what a renewal does for the ArtiDiag Pro, it helps to divide the software into three components. There is the vehicle coverage, there are the function files and there is the online side. All three advance with an active licence.

What a renewal provides

New vehicle coverage: Brands, models and model years added after your last update become available within existing diagnostic functions.
Expanded service functions: Procedures such as oil service, idle speed adjustment, clutch learning, ABS bleeding and battery management reset remain compatible with newer vehicles as manufacturers update their systems.
TPMS database: Sensor types, learning procedures and vehicle-specific relearn steps are expanded.

What happens without renewal

No updates: New coverage and new procedures no longer reach the device.
Online functions: Anything the software does not have built-in may stop working afterwards.
What remains: Everything the device can do at that moment, it will continue to do; the ArtiDiag Pro does not diminish in value, simply does not become newer.
