The Topdon ArtiDiag Pro is a professional diagnostic tool designed to perform a full system diagnosis for more than 100 vehicle brands. This device features a 7-inch touchscreen, runs on Android 10.0, and is powered by a 2.0 GHz quad-core processor. The ArtiDiag Pro supports advanced functions such as ECU coding, actuator control, and more than 30 service and maintenance functions. A 2-year software update license is included with purchase.
In addition to extensive diagnostic capabilities, the ArtiDiag Pro offers features such as CarVIN for automatic vehicle identification and generating detailed diagnostic reports that can be shared via email. The device can display up to four live data streams graphically at the same time, enabling detailed analysis of vehicle performance. Functionality can be further expanded with optional modules, such as a Battery tester or a videoscope, making it a versatile tool for the modern workshop.
Diagnostic functions:
The ArtiDiag Pro offers extensive diagnostic capabilities for all available electronic systems in a vehicle, including engine, transmission, ABS, SRS, and body.
- Read and clear fault codes: Reads and clears diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) from all control units present in the vehicle.
- Live data functions: Displays real-time data from sensors and components. The device can show up to four data streams simultaneously in a graph for comparative analysis.
- Actuator control (Bi-directional control): Sends commands to vehicle systems and components to test their operation. This allows actuators such as relays, injectors, and motors to be controlled directly.
Service and maintenance functions:
The ArtiDiag Pro supports more than 30 service and maintenance functions. The availability of specific functions may vary by vehicle brand, model, and year.
Engine and drivetrain:
- Oil service reset: Resets the oil and maintenance service indicator after an oil change.
- Throttle valve learning: Initializes the throttle valve actuators to standard values after replacement or cleaning.
- Injector coding: Registers new injector codes in the control unit after replacement.
- Transmission learning: Performs an adaptation process for the automatic transmission to optimize shift quality.
- Crankshaft sensor learning: Resets the tolerances of the crankshaft position sensor.
- Engine power balance test: Checks the contribution of each cylinder to engine power to detect irregularities.
- Reset start/stop system: Reactivates or resets the start/stop system after maintenance or component replacement.
- Bleed coolant: Activates the electronic water pump to remove air from the cooling system.
- Resetting air/fuel ratio: Resets the fuel correction values of the engine management system.
- Registering Battery: Registers a newly installed Battery with the vehicle management system.
- High voltage Battery diagnostics: Performs checks on the status and performance of the Battery in hybrid and electric vehicles.
Exhaust systems:
- Diesel particulate filter regeneration (DPF): Starts the regeneration process to remove accumulated soot from the DPF.
- Gasoline particulate filter regeneration (GPF): Activates the regeneration process for the particulate filter in gasoline engines.
- Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) adaptation: Resets the learning values of the EGR valve after cleaning or replacement.
- Resetting AdBlue system (SCR): Resets the AdBlue level and warnings after refilling the tank.

- AutoVIN: Automatically identifies the vehicle based on the chassis number (VIN), speeding up the selection process of the correct vehicle model.
