The Topdon ArtiDiag 900 Lite update license is a software extension valid for one year, specifically designed for the Topdon ArtiDiag 900 Lite diagnostic device. This license ensures that the device retains access to the latest software updates, keeping its functionality and vehicle coverage current for the user.
With an active software license, the diagnostic device continuously receives updates for new car models, expanded system diagnostics, and the newest service functions. After the license period expires, the device remains fully operational with the last installed software version but will no longer receive new system updates or expansions until the license is renewed.

How does it work in practice?
Activating the update license is a simple process carried out directly on the device.
- Place your order and enter the serial number of your diagnostic device in the remarks field.
- You will receive the digital renewal code within 24 hours via email or WhatsApp.
- On your Topdon device, go to the main menu and select the ‘Update’ or ‘Renew’ option.
- Enter the received activation code in the designated field.
- The license is activated immediately, and the new expiry date is visible in your device’s settings.
Serial number information
For software activation, the serial number of your device is required. This unique number, consisting of 12 characters, must be entered in the remarks field during the ordering process. The serial number can be found in the following locations:
- Settings menu: Check the ‘Info’ or ‘About this device’ section in your Topdon device’s settings.
- Startup screen: On some models, the serial number briefly appears when the device starts up.
- Original packaging: The serial number is often printed on a sticker on the outside of the packaging box.
