Thinkcar ThinkEasy Clip 2 | Battery Tester

The Thinkcar ThinkEasy Clip 2 is a battery tester designed for analyzing 12V batteries and the associated starting and charging systems of vehicles. The tester uses conductivity tests to determine the battery condition, measuring parameters such as State of Health (SoH), State of Charge (SoC), internal resistance, and the CCA value. The results are displayed directly on the integrated 1.77-inch color screen.

This model features Bluetooth connectivity, allowing the tester to be paired with a smartphone via the ThinkDiag+ app. Through this application, detailed test reports can be generated, saved, and shared. The tester does not require an internal battery and is powered by the vehicle's battery once the clamps are connected. The housing is equipped with reverse polarity protection to prevent damage to the electronics.

Application and functionality:

This battery tester is developed to perform a complete analysis of a vehicle's battery system. The functions are aimed at determining the overall condition and performance.

• Battery test: Analyzes the battery status by measuring the actual State of Health (SoH), State of Charge (SoC), internal resistance, and the actual starting capacity (CCA).
• Start test: Checks the vehicle's starting system by measuring the starting voltage and time during ignition. This provides an indication of the condition of the starter motor and the electrical circuit.
• Load test: Evaluates the operation of the charging system, including the alternator. The tester measures the voltage under various loads to determine if the battery is being properly charged while the engine is running.
• Bluetooth reporting: Connects via Bluetooth to a smartphone to create detailed test reports in the ThinkDiag+ app. These reports can be saved for later use or shared.
• Polarity protection: The device is protected against damage that may occur from incorrectly connecting the positive and negative clamps to the battery terminals.

• AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) Flat Plate: A sealed type battery in which the electrolyte is absorbed in fiberglass mats.

• EFB (Enhanced Flooded Battery): An improved version of the traditional wet battery, designed for vehicles with start-stop systems.
• GEL: A sealed battery in which the electrolyte is fixed in a gel form.
