The Thinkcar Thinkdiag is a powerful and compact Bluetooth Diagnostic Tool that turns your smartphone or tablet (iOS or Android) into a professional portable Diagnostic Tool. The system consists of a Bluetooth VCI (dongle) that easily connects to the vehicle via the ThinkDiag app and provides access to diagnostic functions at OE level. The Thinkdiag is developed for both the professional workshop and the demanding do-it-yourselfer who values flexibility, depth and mobility.

The power of the Thinkdiag lies in the combination of complete system diagnosis, bi-directional functions (active tests) and advanced applications such as ECU coding. With support for more than 120 vehicle brands and an extensive set of service and reset functions, the Thinkdiag offers a very complete solution – all through a user-friendly app interface that works quickly, clearly and professionally.

Diagnostic functions:

The Diagnostic Tool offers extensive complete system diagnosis and supports all electronic systems in modern vehicles.

• Complete system diagnosis: Reads and clears fault codes from all available electronic control units, including engine, transmission, ABS, airbag, BCM, TPMS and more.
• Active tests (bi-directional control): Sends direct commands to vehicle components to test their operation. This allows faults to be quickly located without dismantling parts. Examples include controlling the fuel pump, cooling fan, EGR valve or the opening/closing of windows.
• Live data stream: Displays real-time sensor data from all systems. The data can be recorded, replayed, and displayed in combined graphs for detailed system analysis.
• AutoVIN scan: Automatically identifies the vehicle via the chassis number (VIN), ensuring a quick and error-free start to diagnostics.

Maintenance and service functions:

The Thinkdiag supports more than 15 commonly used maintenance and service procedures, enabling technicians to efficiently perform the most common reset and calibration tasks:

• Oil service reset: Resets the maintenance interval after an oil change or service.
• Electronic parking brake (EPB) reset: Puts the brake calipers in service mode and performs calibration after brake maintenance.
• Steering angle sensor (SAS) calibration: Calibrates the steering angle sensor after alignment or steering repair.
• Battery registration (BMS): Registers a new battery in the vehicle and adjusts the charging strategy.
• ABS bleeding: Supports bleeding the ABS system after component replacement or leakage.
• Throttle body learning: Calibrates the throttle position sensor for stable idle speed and correct response.
• DPF regeneration: Initiates a forced regeneration of the diesel particulate filter after saturation or maintenance.
