The Porsche 19-pin to 16-pin OBD2 adapter cable is a specialized diagnostic adapter designed to connect modern reading equipment to classic Porsche models with a 19-pin diagnostic port. This round port was used by Porsche from the late 1980s to the mid-1990s and is physically incompatible with the 16-pin OBD2 plugs of contemporary scan tools.
This adapter acts as an essential bridge between the original 19-pin connector and universal 16-pin scanners. In combination with suitable software or scanners (such as PST2 emulation), various ECUs can be read. Ideal for mechanics, Porsche restorers, and owners of classic models.
