The OBDSTAR M070 is an adapter cable that converts a Tohatsu 18-pin ECU connection to a 16-pin OBD2 (J1962) connector. The cable is designed for use with OBDSTAR readers or programmers and enables diagnostics on Tohatsu outboard motors equipped with an 18-pin ECU diagnostic port. The cable features a robustly shielded cable body with lockable connectors on both ends.
The M070 mechanically and electrically connects the 18-pin ECU port of the Tohatsu engine to the 16-pin OBD2 input of the connected OBDSTAR diagnostic device. Through this connection, the diagnostic signals from the engine control unit are transmitted to the reader, allowing functions such as reading fault codes and retrieving live engine data.
