The OBDSTAR TCM-002A adapter cable is designed to establish a direct connection between a 15-pin DB15 interface and the 20-pin connector of Temic DQ250 transmission control units (TCM). This cable enables communication with specific DSG transmissions from the VAG group outside the vehicle, via a bench setup.

When used in a programming environment, the adapter facilitates stable signal transfer for reading and writing TCU data. The pin-out is precisely matched to the power and CAN bus lines of the DQ250 modules (including the 02E, 0D9, and CXX revisions), ensuring safe and interference-free data transfer. According to brand specifications, this cable is exclusively compatible with OBDSTAR programmers and reading devices.
