The OBDSTAR M054 is an adapter cable designed for the diagnosis and immobilizer programming of Suzuki and Yamaha motorcycles. The cable features two brand-specific connectors: a 12-pin connector and an 18-pin connector, which connect to the diagnostic points in the vehicle. The other end is a standard 16-pin OBD2 (J1962) connector, which connects the cable to a compatible diagnostic device or programmer.
The M054 forms a physical bridge between the vehicle-specific connection point and the OBD2 interface of the diagnostic equipment. Through the 12-pin or 18-pin connector, the relevant signal lines — including the K-line or CAN bus — are routed to the correct pins of the 16-pin OBD2 connector. This enables the device to communicate with the motorcycle’s IMMO system for tasks such as reading key data or performing immobilizer release. The cable is exclusively compatible with OBDSTAR diagnostic devices or programmers.
