The OBDSTAR M028 is an adapter cable that converts the vehicle-specific PGO 6+6-pin OBD connection into a standard 16-pin OBD2 (J1962) connector. The cable is designed for use with PGO motorcycles that have a shared diagnostic port consisting of two separate 6-pin connectors. The adapter cable is exclusively compatible with OBDSTAR readers or programmers and is a required intermediary connection to enable diagnostics on vehicles with this type of connection.

The cable simultaneously connects the two 6-pin vehicle-side connectors to the 16-pin OBD2 output, ensuring all required signal lines — including the K-line communication line and power pins — are correctly transmitted to the diagnostic system. Through this connection, the connected OBDSTAR device can communicate with the motorcycle’s electronic control unit (ECU). The cable design provides a mechanically stable connection during the reading session, with signal transmission occurring without active electronics inside the cable itself.
