The OBDSTAR ODO Master is a professional and specialized cluster calibration device, designed for workshops and technicians focusing on odometer correction, meter replacement, and dashboard repair. The system is built around a compact yet robust 5-inch touchscreen tablet, running on the stable Android 5.1.1 operating system. Thanks to the fast interface and simple operation, the device is suitable for both experienced technicians and newcomers in this field.

Unlike universal diagnostic devices, the ODO Master is fully focused on odometer correction and service resets, supporting a very wide range of vehicle models. Calibration procedures are performed safely and directly via a wired OBD2 connection, without additional modules or disassembly. The device comes standard with one year of free software updates, including the latest algorithms and vehicle support. After the license period expires, the ODO Master remains fully functional with the last installed software version – without usage restrictions.

Cluster calibration functions:

The ODO Master is fully specialized in odometer management, offering reliable and secure functionality for reading, adjusting, and restoring cluster data during instrument panel replacement or repair.

• Odometer reading: Reads the current odometer reading directly from the instrument panel, the ECU, or other related modules, depending on the vehicle type.
• Odometer writing: Adjusts the odometer reading after replacement or repair of the cluster. Supports legal corrections according to applicable regulations for example dashboard replacement or import registration.
• Data backup: Creates a complete backup of the original data (including EEPROM and/or FLASH data) before any modification. This function is essential to restore the original condition in case of errors.
• Data recovery: Restores the saved backup with one click in case of a failed procedure or when reverting to the original state is required.

Additional functions:

Besides its main task as a specialized reading device for cluster calibration, the ODO Master offers additional functions that make the device versatile for daily workshop use.

• Oil service reset: Resets the maintenance interval and turns off the service light after an oil change or service. Supported for various vehicle brands.
• Basic OBDII diagnosis: Performs standard EOBD/OBDII diagnosis on the engine management system of gasoline and diesel vehicles. Includes:
  • Read and clear fault codes (DTCs)
  • Display live data in text or graph form
  • View freeze frame data for recorded conditions during fault detection
• Help function: Provides direct access to useful information such as:
  • List of supported vehicle models
  • Software update information
  • In some cases wiring diagrams or connection instructions for specific vehicles

License information

• Including 1 year of updates: A 12-month update license is included with the purchase.

After the first year, the license can be renewed for an annual fee. The device remains fully functional for already supported models, even without license renewal. However, new software updates can no longer be installed, and some online features may be limited or no longer supported.
