The OBDSTAR Key SIM is a 5-in-1 key simulator that can generate keys in situations where all original keys are lost. The accessory works together with the OBDSTAR Key Master DP Plus and the Key Master 5 and offers support for 46 and 4D data collection, pincode decryption, and simulation of various DST40-, DST80-, and smart key transponders.
With the Key SIM, the ignition lock can be reactivated after all keys are lost, after which a new smart key can be added and programmed via the connected diagnostic device. The device simulates transponder types such as Toyota DST40 (8A-H, 94/D4), DST80 (98, F1/78), DST-AES (8A-A8, 8A-A9, 8A-39, 8A-AA), Toyota 4A, and Subaru DST40/DST80, and also supports 46 pincode decryption for Porsche (2005-2010) and Hyundai/Kia.

The OBDSTAR Key SIM supports the following key simulation and decryption operations:
- 46 and 4D data collection: Collects transponder data from 46- and 4D-keys for further processing during key programming.
- Porsche 46 pin code decryption (2005-2010): Decrypts the pin code from 46 transponders of Porsche models from model years 2005 to 2010.
- Hyundai/Kia 46 pin code decryption: Reads the pin code from 46 transponders of Hyundai and Kia vehicles.
- Toyota DST40 (8A-H) blade key simulation: Simulates an 8A-H blade key for Toyota vehicles with DST40 immobilizer.
- Subaru DST40 (8A-H) blade key simulation: Simulates an 8A-H blade key for Subaru vehicles with DST40 immobilizer.
- Toyota DST40 (94/D4) smart key simulation: Simulates a DST40 smart key with page 94/D4 for Toyota models.
- Toyota DST80 (98) smart key simulation: Simulates a DST80 smart key with page 98 for Toyota vehicles.
- Subaru DST80 (F1/78) smart key simulation: Simulates a DST80 smart key with page F1/78 for Subaru models.
- Toyota DST-AES (8A-A8) smart key simulation: Simulates an 8A-A8 DST-AES smart key for all model years of the respective Toyota models.
- Toyota DST-AES (8A-A9) smart key simulation: Simulates an 8A-A9 DST-AES smart key for all model years of the respective Toyota models.
