With the high-quality OBDSTAR (M039) adapter cable, you can perform key programming on your Kawasaki jet ski by converting a 4-pin OBD connection to an IMMO frequency receiver.

Instructions for programming a new key:
It is important to know that when you program a new key, all previously programmed keys, except the original, must be reprogrammed. The system supports a maximum of six keys for a jet ski, but is not suitable in cases where all keys have been lost. If you do not have an original key or a duplicate of it, the ECU will need to be replaced.
Step 1 - There are two types of connectors available; make sure to identify and select the correct connector.
Step 2 - Connect the selected connector to the M039, this is a special adapter cable for key programming, intended for use with Kawasaki skis.
Step 3 - Insert an original key (both an FPO and an SLO key are suitable) into your jet ski and press it in for about a second. If the buzzer sounds twice briefly and then once long, the key programming has been activated.
Step 4 - Remove the original key and insert a new key that needs to be programmed, pressing it in for about a second. If the buzzer sounds twice briefly, it means the key has been successfully programmed.
- Note: If you want to program more new keys, repeat the above steps. The number of beeps will increase with the number of programmed keys (for example, three beeps for the third key, four beeps for the fourth, etc.). A maximum of 6 keys can be programmed.
Step 5 - After programming the last key, the process is not yet complete. Hold the key until you hear a long beep lasting at least three seconds, to confirm that all keys have been successfully programmed. If this does not happen, the programming was not successful, but rest assured, the original key will still function.
After completing the key programming, ensure that everything is returned to its original state.
