The cable consists of two separate connectors: a Kawasaki 1 connector and a Kawasaki 2 connector, both with a 4+4-pin configuration in a square housing format. The connectors feature a locking mechanism that fits the vehicle-side diagnostic ports of the respective Kawasaki jet ski models.

The adapter cable connects the vehicle-specific OBD connectors of the Kawasaki jet ski to a compatible OBDSTAR reader or programmer. The cable enables communication with the vehicle's IMMO system, granting the device access to immobilizer functions such as key programming and system calibration. The two separate cable branches ensure that each connector type is connected separately and correctly to the corresponding vehicle port, without signal loss or incorrect port occupation.
