The IScan Benelli update licence extends your entitlement to software updates for one year. The IScan is not a single device but a range, each version of which is limited to one brand or one segment. This licence belongs to the IScan Benelli and maintains coverage of that specific device. What you receive are new model years, expanded service functions and corrections to existing software.
The licence is tied to the serial number of your IScan Benelli, not to an account or code. We activate it within one working day on your device's serial number. When the term expires, the IScan Benelli continues to work on the last installed version, but no new software will be added.

How does it work in practice?
From order to updated device is four steps. Allow for some download time if you have not updated for a year.
- Serial number: We need the serial number of your IScan Benelli to tie the licence to it; this is shown on the sticker on the back of the device and in the settings menu.
- Registration with the manufacturer: We register your serial number for the new period, usually within one working day.
- Connect device: Switch the device on and connect it to a stable Wi-Fi network.
- Update software: Update the software with one click from the device itself.
