The OBDSTAR M053 is an adapter cable that converts the Honda-specific 12-pin and 33-pin IMMO connectors to a standard 16-pin OBD2 connector (J1962). The cable is designed for use in immobilizer programming on Honda motorcycles and enables communication via the K-line protocol used in these vehicles. The adapter cable is exclusively compatible with OBDSTAR diagnostic devices or programmers.

The M053 connects the vehicle-side 12+33-pin Honda IMMO connector with the 16-pin OBD2 port of the OBDSTAR device. Through this connection, IMMO data can be read and key or transponder information can be programmed. The cable provides correct pin signal routing between the two connector types, so the diagnostic device receives the correct signals for key programming and system configuration at the motorcycle level.
