The Test Platform software licence enables operation on your KeyMaster G3 on the workbench freely. The device launches a standalone module without a vehicle connected, allowing you to assess, repair or prepare it before it goes into the car.
A module removed from the vehicle functions on the bench nothing. Without power supply and without the CAN messages which he would receive in the vehicle, remains dark. The Test Platform supplies this artificially, so the module starts up and responds as if it were built-in.

Group E — Test Platform
This module group starts eight types of control modules on the workbench, from the dashboard to the electric brake booster.
- Assess component for installation: A second-hand or refurbished module testing before entering the vehicle.
- Repair without the vehicle: Perform work without the vehicle having to bridge busy hold.
- Programming and coding: The module prepare on the workbench, making installation simply a matter of connecting the cables.
- Defining storage limits: Determine whether the issue is in the module is included in the vehicle.

What you'll need
Activation is carried out via your OBDSTAR account. Without the components listed below, you cannot use the module group not use.
- An OBDSTAR KeyMaster G3: The licence unlocks a device that you already has and is not supplied separately.
- A registered OBDSTAR account: It contains the activation registered that we prepare for you.
- An internet connection: The device checks on startup which module groups must be unlocked.
- The serial number of your device: The twelve digits on the sticker on the back, in the menu system information and in your OBDSTAR account.

How does it work in practice?
From order to active module group are the four steps. The serial number is the only thing you need to locate yourself.
- Provide serial number: Enter the twelve-digit serial number of your KeyMaster G3 with your order; that is required.
- We prepare it: We register the activation with OBDSTAR, typically within one working day.
- Email confirmation: You will hear from us once the module group on your serial number is shown.
- Update device: Start the G3 with internet connection; the unlocked group will then appear in the menu.
