The OBDSTAR DC706 update licence for one module extends your right to software updates by one year. The DC706 is OBDSTAR's ECU programmer for passenger cars and motorcycles. It reads, writes and clones controllers via OBD or on the workbench. This licence is for a DC706 with one unlocked module: engine management (ECM), transmission (TCM) or body (BCM).
Which modules fall within scope is determined by the activation on your serial number, not by the hardware. This extension keeps the lists for your unlocked module up to date. The licence is linked to the serial number of your device; we activate it within one working day. When the term expires, the device will continue to work on the last installed version, but no new software will be added.

How does it work in practice?
From order to updated device there are four steps. Expect some download time if you have not updated for a year.
- Serial number: We need the serial number of your DC706 to link the licence; it is on the sticker on the device and in the settings menu.
