The OBDSTAR C4-09 is an Adapter kit, designed for reading and writing data on specific Fujitsu microcontrollers. This Adapter is developed for the MB91F52xBS(H) series, including the models MB91F526BS(H), MB91F527BS(H), and MB91F528BS(H). The kit is mainly used for work on Body Control Modules (BCM) and other control units within the automotive sector.
This Adapter allows a direct connection to the pins of the microcontroller on the printed circuit board (PCB). This enables functions such as ECU cloning and data recovery without the need to desolder the chip. For proper operation, the C4-09 Adapter must be connected via the OBDSTAR P004 programming Adapter and the accompanying P004 jumper cable, in combination with a compatible OBDSTAR diagnostic device.

This Adapter is specifically developed for technicians working with automotive electronics who need direct access to microcontroller data for programming and cloning tasks.
- Reading and writing data: Enables reading and writing data from supported Fujitsu microcontrollers directly.
- ECU cloning: Supports duplicating data from an original ECU to a donor ECU, which is useful during replacement.
- Bench mode programming: Used for programming control units outside the vehicle (on the workbench) in combination with the P004 Adapter.
- Data recovery: Provides a method to recover data from damaged or non-functioning control units by directly accessing the MCU.
