The OBDSTAR M022A is the manufacturer-specific cable for the 6-pin diagnostic connector on Benelli motorcycles. It connects that connector to the 16-pin OBD2 (J1962)port on your OBDSTAR diagnostic equipment; the 6-pin side plugs into the diagnostic port of the motorcycle.
Benelli and Benelli DSK use a proprietary 6-pin connector that does not fit a standard OBD2 interface. The cable functions as passive pin conversion: the correct pins from the Benelliconnector are wired to the corresponding contacts on the OBD2 plug, with no intermediate processing. Diagnostic data flows over the K-line or CAN-bus, depending on what is present in the vehicle. This enables communication with the engine control units of the motorcycle. Which functions you can perform depends on the software and licences of your own OBDSTAR device; the cable adds nothing beyond that.
