The OBDSTAR M020 is an adapter cable that converts a 6-pin motorcycle connector of the Aeon/Benelli type to a standard 16-pin OBD2 (J1962) connection. The cable is designed for use with OBDSTAR readers or programmers and enables motorcycles from the brands Aeon and Benelli (including Benelli DSK) to connect to diagnostic systems with an OBD2 port. The cable construction consists of a 6-pin vehicle-side connector and a 16-pin OBD2 plug on the device side.

The adapter cable translates the factory-specific 6-pin diagnostic pinout of Aeon and Benelli motorcycles to the standardized J1962 pin configuration recognized by OBDSTAR equipment. Through this connection, diagnostic signals such as fault codes and sensor data can be read via the K-line or another supported communication protocol present in the vehicle. The cable does not perform active signal conversion but ensures the correct physical and electrical connection between the vehicle port and the diagnostic device.
