The OBDSTAR T007 is an adapter cable specially designed for testing the air conditioning panel module in Volkswagen passenger cars with an A/C connector. The cable features a 15-pin DB15 connector on one end and a vehicle-specific connector on the other end that connects to the A/C panel. The cable is intended exclusively for use with OBDSTAR readers or programmers, including the OBDSTAR test platform.

The T007 adapter cable connects the OBDSTAR test platform via the DB15 interface to the vehicle’s A/C panel module, allowing the diagnostic software to establish direct communication with the panel. Through this connection, the cable supports a control panel lighting test, checking the operation of the panel lights and associated signal lines. Signal transmission occurs directly between the test platform and the module connector, without involving the vehicle’s OBD2 port.
