The OBDSTAR M001B is an Adapter Cable that connects the 15-pin DB15 connector of an OBDSTAR diagnostic device to the 16-pin OBD2 port (J1962) of a vehicle. The cable acts as the main cable between the diagnostic device and the standard OBD2 port, enabling communication with the vehicle’s ECUs during diagnostic, key programming, and odometer operations.

One end features the DB15 plug that connects to the main port of the OBDSTAR device. The other end terminates in an OBD2 plug that fits into the vehicle’s diagnostic port. This connection transmits data and power signals, allowing the diagnostic device to control and read protocols on the OBD2 pins.
